Activities

Through activities and outreach, IPBES in Denmark works to ensure that Danish citizens are aware of the challenges we face as a society when it comes to protecting our biodiversity and ecosystems – among which the ecosystem services that nature provides: cleaning the air we breathe, pollinating the crops we eat, and supplying energy to heat and cool our homes. In addition, nature provides people with opportunities for recreation, experiences, and outdoor life. In order to safeguard the vital functions of nature for future generations, it is important that we make an active effort to protect them.
