Reports and knowledge

IPBES regularly publishes reports on biodiversity, ecosystems, and ecosystem services. The reports are research-based and represent a consensus. This means that each report is based on the work of over 1000 researchers and must be approved by all IPBES member countries before it can be published. The purpose of the publications is to create a better decision-making basis for decision-makers around the world.

Reports from IPBES

In addition to IPBES publications, a number of global, regional and national assessments of biodiversity and ecosystem services have been produced. Find a selection of these publications in the IPBES International Database of Ecosystem Reports and Assessments.
